Installing Single-Pass Scan Tools V3.1

1. Insert the Scan Tools disk into the floppy drive.
2. When the Scan Tools window opens, click on the Install Me First icon.
3. After the "Welcome" screen appears, click on "Continue."
4. When the dialogue box containing the Scan Tools information is displayed, read the information and click "Continue."
5. When the "Easy Install" window appears, click on "Install."
6. Installation will begin. A dialogue box will be displayed asking you to "Select where to install: ColorSync Filter." This will default to your Hard Disk and display your program folders.
7. Scroll through the list of folders until you locate the "Color-It!" folder.  Double-click this folder to open it.
8. Double-click on the "Color-It! Stuff" folder.
9. Double-click on the "Plug-ins" folder. Click on the "Select" button. The installation will continue.
10. If you have another version of the scanner driver already installed, the program will remind you that it already exists and give you the choice to "Replace" or "Skip." Click on "Replace" to install the new driver. If this is a first-time installation, this prompt will not appear.
11. A dialogue box will appear asking you to "Select where to install: Mustek F/B Scanner..." It will default to the Plug-ins folder chosen earlier in the installation. Click "Select" to install the Plug-in.
12. If you have another version of the Plug-in already installed, the program will remind you that it already exists and give you the choice to "Replace" or "Skip." Click on "Replace" to install the new Plug-in. If this is a first-time installation, this prompt will not appear.
13. After installation, the program will prompt you to restart your Macintosh. Click the "Restart" button. The disk will eject and the system will reboot.
